Bivio Pizza Napoletana in Montclair will be closed until 2022, owner Tomasso Colao said citing health issues.
Colao apparently had a minor surgery, NJ Advance Media reports.
"We appreciate you respecting our privacy and will keep everyone updated," he said.
"Needless to say, we will miss all of you and the pleasure of offering our pizza Napoletana to our guests/ friends.
The restaurant recently installed a brand new oven, pictured below.
An exact opening date was not announced.
